Alban "Jack" Girard, 85 of Baldwinsville, passed away at home after a short illness. Jack graduated from Baker high school in 1955 and retired from Church and Dwight of Solvay after 35 years of service. Jack celebrated his 85th birthday with his family at his home on December 30th. He is predeceased by his parents, Gaston and Lucienne Girard; sisters Lorraine Girard and Marriette Shoen; brothers, Jean Girard, and Richard Girard. Jack is survived by his wife of 65 years Jean; daughters, Becky (Paul) Becker and Wendy (Jay) Woodruff; sons, Ret. Col. Jeffrey (Erin) Girard, Robert (Regina) Girard, Daniel (Tracy) Girard; brother, Ronald (Sandra) Girard; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Girard. Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm, Tuesday June 7, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Wednesday at St Mary's Church, Baldwinsville, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to: St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027 A quiet man, a private man, Lord Jesus welcome him home.
