Obituary of Gerald Francis Schrank

Gerald "Jerry" Schrank, 77 of Baldwinsville passed away Monday at St Joseph's Hospital.

Jerry was born in Syracuse to the late Howard and Alice Schrank and was a graduate of North High School in Syracuse. Jerry worked as a printer for the Herald Journal and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as his own company, The Courier Press.

In more recent years he was a school bus driver for Westhill, Baldwinsville, and St Mary's Church where he also taught religious education. He coached Little League and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Browns. Jerry was also a member of the Lions Club for over 20 years.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Cindy; Children, Heidi Schrank, Erik (Aimee) Schrank, and Kevin Schrank; Siblings, Beverly Barrett, Diane (Bruce) Finney, and Richard Schrank; grandchildren, Thomas and Alec Pileski, and Nora and Ashton Schrank; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 28 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, from 4 – 7 PM, A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jerry's memory to the Baldwinsville Lions Club.
