Obituary of Vincent Joseph Miceli
Vincent Joseph Miceli, 87, died peacefully at Crouse Hospital February 1, 2022. He was born March 20, 1934 in Bronx, NY, the son of Louis and Philomena Fanny Miceli. Vince graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School, class of 1951. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Navy on the USS William R. Rush during the Korean War. He married Eleanor Honoré after the war, and they settled in Baldwinsville. Avid travelers, they celebrated 66 years of marriage in November, eighteen of which were spent in Los Lunas, NM before returning to Baldwinsville in 2013. Vince retired from General Electric in 1993 after serving as a technical engineer for 35 years, and was an active parishioner and devoted servant of God at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Baldwinsville, and San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Angelina, and two, brothers Louis and Ronald. Surviving in addition to his wife, Eleanor, are his daughter, Karen (Scott) Patterson; of Baldwinsville; daughter, Lisa Dardano, of Syracuse; and son, James (Jennifer) Miceli of Huntington, NY; three grandchildren, Giovanni, Adrianna, and Shane, and two great grandchildren, Dominick and Aidan.
A funeral mass will take place at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd. Baldwinsville, at 11AM Friday, February 4, with calling hour in the Chapel at 10AM. The mass will be streamed live at www.staugustinesparish.org/mass
