Lucille B. Snyder Furco of Jordan passed away on January 22, 2022 after fighting an illness for over two years. Lucille, "Lu", was born in Gouverneur NY on June 10th, 1938, the daughter of the late Roy Snyder and Jennie Lashbrooks Snyder. She grew up in the North Syracuse area and married the boy the next street over who would jump the fence to see her, Lawrence Furco. She and Larry married and started their family, eventually living over 50 years in the Jordan area. Lu loved her family deeply, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching them grow. They always put a smile on her face and a laugh in her heart. She was a devoted wife for over 62 years and together, her and Larry enjoyed years of outings with friends and family. She loved being a homemaker and she was that person who would lend an ear or a hand when needed. She is survived be her loving husband of 62 years, Lawrence Furco. Her daughter Theresa Furco (Lawrence Kristeller) and son Vincent Furco. Three grandchildren: Jason Peckham (Erin), Joel Furco (Jamey) and Benjamin Furco (Jessica). Eight great grandchildren: Gwyneth, Evelyn, Theodore, Samuel, Emma, Olivia, Isaac and Dahlia. Two surviving sisters: Suzanne Sweeney and Martha Messano, and sister-in-law Gloria Carruth. She was predeceased by sisters Mary Priola and Marlene Abraham as well as her brother Ralph Snyder. She leaves behind many other family and friends that were close to her heart. There will be no calling hours. The family expects to have a gathering of remembrance at a future date.
