I met Ann when I delivered Meals on Wheels. One wintery day I commented on being cold and she offered me a cup of coffee; I told her that she was near the end of my route and that next week, I'd take her up on her offer. That began a couple of years of weekly coffee times and wonderful conversations. One day her daughter, Louise, stopped by and I immediately recognized her as one of my former flute students! Such a small world!
Ann was always knitting scarves and I took hundreds of them to give to others at Canton Woods Senior Center . My wife and others donated yarn for her to use.
She loved her cats and they readily accepted me.
I'll always remember our visits. Slàinte Mhath!
