I don't think that we will ever know the full scope of Steve's impact on humanity this side of eternity, but I am one of the many lives he has touched. Brother, it has been an honor to partner with you in ministry and to touch the lives of the children and families in Syracuse. I was looking forward to many more years or partnership and we are all devastated to see you go. You were a kind of loving friend, an attentive ear for those who needed, and you had a heart of pure gold.
To the Evans family: we love you all. Your amazing patriarch has gone on to glory and we cannot even imagine your pain, but we are praying for you. We pray for each of you daily.
We are here for you if you need anything at all, and we promise to remember you all in prayer often. Stay strong and let the Lord encompass you with His peace which surpasses all understanding.
May He comfort you as you mourn the loss of one of the greatest men of God - your husband, your dad.
