Obituary of Theresa Ann Jensen

Theresa Ann Jensen of Baldwinsville, NY passed away December 5, 2021 after a long battle with Diabetes and related illnesses. Theresa joins in heaven her daughter, Stephanie Pugh of Pensacola, FL. , her parents, Paul and Lois Jensen of Baldwinsville NY, her 2 brothers Mark and Erik and her nephew, Sean McPeak of Solvay, NY. Theresa is survived by 6 sisters; Barbara Jensen of Pueblo, CO, Beverly Jean McPeak of Solvay, NY (spouse John), Lynn Jensen of Beverly, MA, Mary Jensen of Fulton, NY, Alison Senft of Endwell, NY (spouse Michael), and Amy Mercadante of Baldwinsville, NY. Theresa also leaves behind 3 brothers; Bryan Jensen of Baldwinsville, NY, Andrew Jensen of Geneva, NY (spouse Kimberly) and Warren Jensen of Webster, NY, 2 granddaughters, Jazmin Rangel of Cape Coral, FL and Amanda Rangel of New York, NY, a Grandson, Alexander Dyson of Pensacola, FL, 2 great grandchildren, 26 nieces and nephews, 19 grand-nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nieces and nephews.

Theresa will be remembered most for her wonderful sense of humor, flare for telling stories and her knack for decorating. She fiercely loved her daughter and her grandchildren, all her nieces and nephews, but especially her tap dancing niece that tortured her tapping over her head for 3 years. She worked as a home health aide in the Binghamton area for several years, at Lourdes Hospital as a Nurse's Aide, and many other careers over her lifetime including tending bar, motel management and other tourist industries mostly in the Florida Keys.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Loretto Nursing Home, St. Joseph's Hospital and Crouse Medical Center for their incredible care during this very difficult time of help shortages. We would especially like to thank Jamie Miller of Pace and her very best buddy Eddy James also with PACE. The support and friendship these two have shown Theresa over the years goes so far above and beyond that words cannot express our gratitude.

A celebration of the mass will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 10 at St. Augustine's Church, O'Brien Rd, Baldwinsville, NY. All are welcome.
