Dorothy A. Roth, 83, formerly of Baldwinsville, went home to be with the Lord on November 27, after a long illness. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Donald and Madeline Fahy Koons. On June 28, 1958 she married her high school sweetheart, John "Carl" Roth in Rome, NY, together they shared over 56 years of marriage until his passing in 2015. Dorothy loved nature, especially walking on the beaches searching for shells. In addition to her husband, Dorothy is predeceased by her daughter; Christine Mary Roth, siblings; Mary Lou Burke, Joseph Koons, and Jean Gleason. She is survived by her children; James (Eileen) Roth, Mary Beth (John) Drumm, John (Kathy) Roth, Michael (Chrystal) Roth, 7 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters, siblings; Diane Brockway, Donald (Chris) Koons, Kathy Lombino, William (Arlene) Kiser, Patricia (Mike) Vescio, Jerry (Nancy) Koons, Judy (Jeff) Dauback. Calling hours will be held Thursday, December 2, from 4 – 7 Pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on December 3, 10AM, at St Mary's Church, Baldwinsville, with burial to follow in St Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. The family would like to thank all of her health care providers at PACE and Loretto Cunningham for giving mom your care and compassion.
