Obituary of David Henry Zoll

David Zoll, 63, passed away Tuesday at University Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, NY to Henry and Urla Lamitie Zoll. Dave worked 32 years for NYS starting in the Canal System and retiring from the Department of Transportation. He met his best friend, Virginia in 1995 and have been together ever since. Dave enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Dave is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Virginia Zoll; children, Sonja Zoll, Christy (Chad) Jewell, Jason (Amanda) Phoenix, and Jessica (Shawn) Phoenix; grandchildren, Julian Zoll-Guyer, Britney Jewell, Jason, Jr., Alexis, and Noah Phoenix, Trenton and Dakota Seymour; siblings, Penny (Michael) Miguel, Denise (Patrick) King, and Brian Zoll; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4-7 pm Friday, October 29 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. The Service is 10 am Saturday, October 30 at Falardeau Funeral Home followed by a burial in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Helping Hounds, 6606 Kinne Rd, DeWitt, NY 13214.
