Leslie G. Granger of Baldwinsville passed away September 17, 2021 at age 75. Les was born on October 7, 1945 in Auburn, the son of Gilbert and Jane Granger, and attended Union Springs High School and Auburn Community College.

Raised on a family farm, where he learned the value of hard work at a young age, Les made his career as a General Contractor. Beginning as a laborer in the construction business, he learned masonry and carpentry, worked as a subcontractor and a general contractor, and eventually realized his dream of leading his own business as Owner of Granger Construction Company which opened in 1992. He was previously a partner at the Pyramid Companies and San-Gra Construction Co.

A loving husband and father, Les is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nancy; children, Mark (Michelle) Granger of Liverpool, Kelly (Ben) Shapiro of High Point, NC, Shelley Andrews of Albany and Dan (Eva) Andrews of Mooresville, NC; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Jeffrey Granger in 2016.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 26 at 3:00 pm at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Dunbar Center, 1453 S State St. Syracuse NY 13205, the Central New York SPCA, 5878 E Molloy Rd. Syracuse NY 13211, or the charity of your choice.
