Joan M. Precourt, 77, passed away July 29 in Columbia, TN surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse, NY to Clifford and Alberta Young and was a long-time resident of Baldwinsville where she married her husband of 57 years, Paul Precourt, Jr., and raised their 5 children. Joan enjoyed traveling and gardening. She especially enjoyed shopping for hats and has one for every occasion. Joan loved living on the Seneca River and treasured the time she spent with her family. Joan is predeceased by her parents, daughter-in-law, Colleen Precourt, and sisters, Linda Reistrom and Mary Pyle. Joan is survived by her husband, Paul Precourt, Jr.; children, Paul Precourt, III, Steven (Laurie) Precourt, Suzanne (Rodney) Calkins, JoAnne Precourt, and Diane (Daniel, Jr.) Sposato; siblings, Beverly Taylor, Susan (William) Walsh, Clea Falter, and William Young; 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4-7 pm Thursday, August 5 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 am Friday, August 6 at St. Augustine's Church, O'Brien Rd, Baldwinsville. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
