Obituary of Ruth F. Schultze

Ruth F. Schultze, age 94, passed away on July 20th following a short illness. Ruth was known for her thoughtfulness and quiet dignity, and leaves us all better for having known her. Her family and her faith were her treasures. Ruth was predeceased by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 60 years, Curt Schultze. She leaves behind a large and loving family, including her childre; Karen (Robert) Weeden, Robert (Margaret) Schultze, Laura Sepka, and Curt (Julia) Schultze, brother; Roger (Nila) Fish as well as 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a steadfast member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Baldwinsville for more than 65 years and a member of the church choir for 20 years. She will be sadly missed by her many friends in the McHarrie Towne Community.

Calling hours will be held at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., in Baldwinsville on Sunday, July 25 from 2-5 pm. A celebration of Ruth's life will follow on Monday, July 26 at 10 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 47 Syracuse St. in Baldwinsville. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, those that loved Ruth consider a donation to the St. Mary's Church choir in her name
