Obituary of Patrick J. Dixon

Patrick J. Dixon, 83 of Liverpool, passed away on Monday June 21st at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Born in Syracuse to Michael and Lillian Dixon, he grew up on the near west side of Syracuse and was a 1956 graduate of St. Lucy's Academy before serving in the US Army with his twin brother Robert, following their military service both brothers were employed by Bristol Myers. Pat was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus and a past Grand Knight.

 

In addition to his parents, Pat was predeceased by his wife Barbara, daughter, Kathleen, brother, William and sister Grace.

 

Surviving are his children; Patrick, Michael (Karen), Daniel (Judi), John, Joseph (Karrie), 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, longtime companion, Jean Hook, Kathleen's significant other Grant Spurrell, brother, Robert (Nancy), sisters; Mary Dixon, Eleanor (Harry) Burns, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

 

Calling hours will be held from 2 – 5 PM, Sunday June 27, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 28, 11:00 am at Christ the King Church in Bayberry with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
