My heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I just found this when I was googling for my Aunt Peg's obituary. What a lovely tribute to her life. Susan was my cousin. I have fond memories at the Old Indian Gate Farm in Lafayette in our younger days. I always loved visiting on that hill, the Christmas tree farm and even that parrot! Much love to you!
