So sorry to hear of Doug’s passing .I will always remember all the fun we had growing up next door. We always had so much fun and always laughed at everything. He was an awesome friend and such a sweet young boy so I am sure he has been a great husband, dad and grandpa. He is taken way too early from all of you.He is now your guardian angel watching over all of his loved ones.My deepest sympathy and condolences are sent to all of you at this difficult time .

The one thing that stands out in my memory of Doug was his fierce loyalty to his family and his life at Millsite Lake. Our sincere condolences to Mary, Aunt Nancy, Elaine, Georgia and Karen, and family.
I have no doubt Doug is now running alongside Bear, free of cancer, free of pain, no longer suffering, free of the burdens of this world, with a twinkle in his eye and still cracking jokes. Love you Doug. We will miss you.

We are going to miss you brother. Campfires on the beach, sunset lake cruises. Your passion and dedication to everything you did was invigorating. You have shown me and my family much love. You have taught me a lot, and you will always be in my thoughts. Until we can work and play alongside each other again, Godspeed my man.

Dear Family,
I can't begin to imagine your pain and sorrow. Doug was kind, caring, a hard worker, loved his family beyond measure and always had that special smile. He fought so hard and it breaks our hearts that he lost his battle. You are all in our hearts, on our minds, and we are sending our deepest sympathy and virtual hugs. We love you all and will see you soon. So hard to imagine not seeing Doug.
With sympathy and love,
Margie, Doug, and Family
