Obituary of Dolores Lucille Bucci

Dolores Bucci October 6, 2020 Dolores Bucci, 89, of Lysander, passed away peacefully at home with loving family by her side. Dolores was a generous and exuberant soul, sharing her love for family, friends and animals alike. Dolores offered her services to the US Air Force as a young woman. Later serving people with her beautiful voice and cocktail drums in her trio, "Joanne & George & Doug" as a Jazz musician. Her exciting life with George Mahoney brought 2 beautiful children in the first chapter of her life. Her second chapter was filled for 50 years of shared love with Bill Bucci. Much of the second part of Dolores's life was filled with her love for animals. She was a medal and ribbon winning equestrian for over 30 years and at one time had 23 barn cats to keep the mice at bay. Dolores was a loving and shining example to her children, grandchildren, and all those who had the privilege to share in her life. Dolores is predeceased by her sister Rose Marie "Mimi" Mazzucca. Surviving Dolores are her loving husband of 50 years, William Bucci; Daughter, Eva Mahoney; Son, Mark Mahoney; Brother, Donald Fida; grandchildren Sarah Ruvio, Jessie (Fabian) Flores and great-granddaughter, Hazel Claire Flores.
