Growing up , there was a time when Thursday afternoon meant my mom’s cousins would come ver. They would sit at the kitchen table drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes ( it was the 60’s after all) and discussing the latest gossip. I would sneak around to eavesdrop. I loved hearing the chatter and especially my moms laughter. Even when times were rough, the cousins visit was a welcome diversion. I like to think that when my mom entered heaven her mom grandma Terhorst, cousins Genevieve and Agnes were waiting for her with a cup of coffee and a tabloid magazine. Mom you really set the mom bar high for me, but I hope I did you proud. Debbie
