Obituary of Jonathan T. Dziedzic

On Monday morning September 28, Jonathan Thomas Dziedzic, 36, passed away unexpectedly. Jon was a gentle soul with a heart of gold and a style and charisma all his own. His wit and charm had this special effect that made him so special to everyone who knew him. Born on October 16, 1983 Jon always had a big heart and a soft spot for any living thing. He never would consider hurting even a fly. Always there for family or a friend, Jon was committed to helping anyone he could. Loved by family and friends, he will be missed more than anyone can know. His soul and spirit are now set free and our memories will last forever. Recently starting a new chapter in his life with his girlfriend Meghan and her son Ryan, life was taking on a whole new meaning. A person with the drive to "figure it out", he could always dissect a problem and get it fixed. Surviving are his mother, Larraine Amalfitano, step-father, Tony Amalfitano, father, Robert Dziedzic, sister, Sarah Dziedzic, girlfriend Meghan Clawson, her son Ryan, and so many other family and friends that were such a large part of his life. The family would like to thank Mom, Tom, Dan, Mike, Mike, Kate, and Rick as well as all his friends for all the friendship and support provided to Jon over the years. Calling hours are 4-7 PM Friday, October 2 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Services are private with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Auburn, on Saturday, October 3. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Salvation Army Syracuse or the CNY SPCA.
