Obituary of Jeffrey J. Holbrook

Jeffrey was born in Syracuse New York to the late William and Beverly Holbrook, and was raised in the small town of Baldwinsville NY right on the Seneca River. Jeff followed in his fathers footsteps when it came to becoming involved in the local fire department when he was 14 he became a junior firefighter and that love of serving others continued his entire life as he became a Certified First Responder, EMT, Critical Care Tech and finally a paramedic. He was a volunteer for Warners Fire Dept, Baldwinsville Fire Dept and also a Life member of GBAC. His passion was helping others and bringing awareness to others to never forget what happened on 9/11/01 by obtaining steel from the WTC collapse and bringing it home to have a memorial built at the Baldwinsville Fire Dept station 2 for everyone to gather and remember the events of that day. He was so proud to have it built and the end result is amazing. He loved his family and friends and as of July 13 2020 he is now watching over us all until the lord takes us home to be with him. He is survived by his son's Justin and Jacob Holbrook, wife Stephanie Jackson-Holbrook, many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, fire and Ems family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his mother, father, 2 brothers and grandparents. A celebration of life will be held on August 8 2020 at Baldwinsville station 1 located on Crego road beginning at 11am to 145pm. Everyone must wear a mask or they will be unable to celebrate with us as we have to follow all guidelines set by the Firehouse.
