Obituary of Lori Sue Zepp

Lori Sue Caines Zepp was unexpectedly taken from us on July 7, 2020 along with her best friend and husband Brian Zepp. Lori was born March 8, 1965 in Fulton New York. She went to JCB High School in Phoenix NY and lived all her life in the CNY area.
Lori worked for Securitas Security Services as a Security Officer for the State Office building in Syracuse NY. She was proud of her job and would joke about knowing all of the area's "parolees" by name. She was also a licensed cosmetologist.
It is difficult to have sadness about someone who was always so happy. She was energetic and always smiling. Her bright blonde hair matched her blonde personality as she was openly considered the stereotypical (ditsy) blonde by friends and family. She would blurt out any thought that came to mind which would make everyone shake their heads and laugh. No one said Lori was a great cook and it was a family joke that she couldn't boil water. She loved garage sales, going to the park, and motorcycle wind therapy. She loved holidays and always made sure Christmas was extra amazing for the kids. Lori was known as "Glamma" by her two granddaughters, Rosalind (Roz) and Alayna (Laney Bug). She absolutely adored these little girls and was their "biggest fan".
She is survived by parents Ada E. Caines and Albert R. Caines, sister Kimberly Loura (Bud Loura), children Stephanie Caines (Garrett Conroy), Aaron Caines, step-son Michael Zepp, her greatest loves Rosalind and Alayna, nephew Zachary Loura and fur babies, Max, Harley and 2 cats.
In celebration of her life, we ask that you do something nice for someone to make their day. Pay it forward. Always remember that you can live poor, but you're never too poor for iced coffee. And please, commit to always "look twice" for bikers.
A private Celebration of Life event will be held on August 1st.
To the woman who thought you have to fly around the entire world to get to California: you didn't need to take a motorcycle to get to the moon, at least not this soon. We love you always Lori and Brian.
