Barbara Williams Kidd passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the age of 97. She was born on January 5, 1923 to Jessie and Roger Williams. After graduating from Syracuse University, Barbara was an art teacher in Tully, NY. She later taught art at Stonehedge Elementary school in Camillus. Additionally, she worked for Ethan Allen and Dey Brothers as a design consultant. A talented artist, she excelled in a variety of mediums. Barbara faced whatever obstacles life presented with dignity and good humor. She valued her friendships and was loved and admired by all who knew her.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Nancy Stander of Guilford, CT, her son David Kidd (Renate) of Falls Church, VA, her son Robert Kidd of Baldwinsville, NY, her grandchildren; Jessica (John) McHarg, Justin Stander, Hans Kidd, Roger Kidd, and Leo Kidd, as well as her great-granddaughter, Clara McHarg. She is pre deceased by her husband David Kidd, son in law Joel Stander, and grandson Jonathan Stander.
Due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic, burial services will be held privately. Donations may be made to the Baldwinsville Female Charitable Society, 10 River St, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
