Obituary of David M. Connors

David M. Connors, 90, passed away Friday, May 22. He was born in Madison, WI to Albert and Marie Connors. David was a proud Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He retired from Prudential Insurance after 30 years and then worked as a security officer retiring for the second time at 80 years old. David was an avid runner and enjoyed ultra-marathons often dedicating them to members of the family and later in life he enjoyed fishing. David was also the second leading apheresis donor with the Red Cross with over 500 donations when he was told he had to quit.

David is predeceased by his parents and sister, Shirley Kirsch.

David is survived by his wife of 68 years, Bettina Pippo Connors; children, Patrick (Lori Chalkey) Connors, Anne (Leland) Schwantes, Karen (Gary) Endres, Timothy (Deb) Connors, and Marty (Brent) Little; grandchildren, David, Elizabeth, and Liam Connors, Conner and Beau Schwantes, and Carter and Alexandra Little; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to 82nd Airborne Association, PO Box 87482, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
