Shirley J. Stockdale, 96, of Baldwinsville passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020, just ten days short of her 97th birthday. She was born in Syracuse and lived in Dewitt until moving to Baldwinsville in 1965. Shirley was a former member of the Dewitt Community Church. She was a member of the Baldwinsville Theater Guild and enjoyed music and shopping. She also enjoyed telling stories of growing up with her family.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Stockdale in 2012.
Surviving are her daughter, Terry (Ron) Jones of Phoenix; her sons, Roger (Kathie) Stockdale of Murrells Inlet, SC and Kenneth (Diana) Stockdale of No. Syracuse; 4 grandchildren, Robyn Stockdale, Joshua Jones, Jesse Jones , and Jennifer Stockdale; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours, nor services.
Contributions in her memory can be made to "Canton Woods Memorial and Endowment Fund" or Meals on wheels c/o Canton Woods Senior Center, 76 Canton St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
