Obituary of Leo A. Pachek

Leo Arthur Pachek, 76, passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2020 in Stuart, Florida. Leo was born on August 13, 1943 in Syracuse, NY to Edward and Alice Edgerton Pachek. He grew up in Baldwinsville and graduated from Baldwinsville Central. It was there he met and married his high school sweetheart Judie. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of San Francisco. Leo made friends wherever he went, even during the short times he lived in China and Brazil for work. Although his work let him travel all over the world, his favorite place on earth was his cottage in Plevna, Ontario. That's where he was able to spend time with his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also loved spending his winters in Florida. Leo loved to play golf and enjoyed watching Syracuse sports. He was active in the volunteer fire departments wherever he lived. He was a member of the Belgium and Moyers Corners fire departments. He was the fire chief of the Deer Springs fire department in California. He will be forever missed by his wife of 57 years Judith Page, daughter Amanda (John) Kring of Plevna, Ontario, son Jeffrey (Jody) of Fallbrook, CA, sister Diane (Jerry) Montague of Intervale, NH, brother Edward (Sharon) of Pueblo, CO, brother Gary (Esther) of Baldwinsville, granddaughter April (Chris) Beeg, granddaughter Paige Kring, grandson Tyler Kring, great grandson Parker Beeg, great grandson Hunter Beeg and several nieces, nephews, great nieces. and great nephews.
