Oh....what can I say about this 'SWEET' as candy Aunt of mine....Everything about her was comfortable. As a child we would go visit our Grama and Granda Wells on Onondaga Lake. Aunt Marie lived there too. It was a pink house and oddly enough always reminded me of candy. Such fond memories of her soft adorable voice and incredibly sweet disposition. Aunt Marie always made us laugh! She would tell us goofy things out of the side of her mouth like my dad did when he was telling a joke.
My mom and dad would take us to where Aunt Marie worked at Fanny Farmers and we would get some little treat from her at the counter. She was so sweet and kind. If I had to wager, I believe she was sweeter than all the candy that was in that store!
Aunt Marie I love and miss you. Your beautiful and pure self that you embodied will live on forever in the hearts of all of us. You are now with your mom and dad, my dad, and the rest of your family that were waiting for you in heaven.
All my love to Aunt Jeanette and family, your niece Cathy
