To the Link family,
It is with deep sadness that I read of George's passing while we were in NC for the holidays. He was a very dear and special man and a wonderful educator. He hired me for a position at Elizabeth Street School which began my long career in Bville. Although most of my time in the district was at the high school level, I will always remember that George took a chance on a brand new reading teacher. He will always be in my heart.
I know what a sad time this must be for you all. Both your parents were special people, loved by many. Please know I am thinking of you and sending butterflies of Hope to help you through this difficult time.
with love and sympathy, Rockette

To the family of George and Betty Link, My family had the pleasure of coming to know George and Betty when they came to Oneonta to care for George's father. They were easy to like and we became fast friends. They gave our family a Bible which we still use today. My heart aches for your loss, but I know their memory lives on in and through you. Blessings to all. Steve and Liecha Collins

Mr. Link used to come to our home on Sixty Rd. In early 70s to pick up and drive my younger brother to school. He had a passion for education. He would sit at our table and talk with my mom about different ways to get my brother to go to school. Never met another educator willing to do that in my time. I'm not saying there aren't any just how grateful we were for his dedication on his time to help someone. R

What a sad day for the baldwinsville community. Peggy Link Tim Link I can never say enough wonderful things about your father. He was always their for me a friend and a educator. He was a kind caring generous man. I looked up to him as I'm sure many of his students colleagues and neighbors did.
Peggy Tim, I'm so very sorry for your (our) lose.
Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful man with the baldwinsville community. He had a way of touching people's hearts and helping people that is a very special trait.

I had the pleasure of spending a few Wednesday mornings at Mr. Link's house for breakfast with my dad in the summer of 2018. Beth cooked for us while dad and Mr. Link hummed and tapped their toes to some of their favorite songs from way back. My dad passed in August, 2018 and it warms my heart to know that Mr. Link is reunited and walking on the sunny side of the street with the love of his life and great friends like my parents, Tom & Barb Walser.

I'm sad to hear he is gone. He has touched many lives like my younger sister and I. He always said good morning to us when we got off the school bus and was always so kind and thoughtful. I will never forget the impact he made on my life. Marion Cornish-Hammack. May God Bless the family for now and always.
