John W. Kissock, 85, of Jamesville passed away Tuesday, November 26 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Syracuse to John and Margaret Kissock and lived in Lyncourt then Cicero before moving to Jamesville. Jack was a retired mechanic from the Onondaga County Garage after many years of service. He loved Johnny Cash, sports and was an avid fan of Syracuse University teams. Jack was a "one of a kind guy" who enjoyed visiting with people. He was quick with a joke and never said an unkind word about anyone. Surviving are his sisters, Mary M. (John) Salisbury of Baldwinsville and Joan K. (George) Smith of Dexter; nieces and nephews, Kathy (Rob)Tallman, Karen (Jeff) Hatter, Kurt (Nancy) Salisbury and Kristen Salisbury; Brad Smith, Gregor (Diana) Smith and Jackie (Steve) Gagnon and several cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his Barrett Manor friends, especially to Vicky and Ellie; also cousins Jim and Lucille Kissock. Calling hour will be Monday, December 2nd from 9:30am -10:30am at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville following the calling hour. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to L'Arche, 920 Spencer St., Syracuse, NY 13204
