Jeanne A Rice, 73, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, peacefully with family by her side. Jeanne was born in Fulton to Worth and Carol Stewart. Jeanne was a great outdoors woman and very active. She loved kayaking, canoeing, backpacking, and hunting. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. She enjoyed decorating, especially during the holiday season where she displayed her skills while decorating for Christmas. Jeanne loved animals as well. One of her best friends was her dog whom she took with her to the Adirondacks to hike. She was greatly loved for her kind and loving demeanor by all her friends and neighbors. Jeanne is predeceased by her first husband, Harrison Anthony. Surviving Jeanne are her loving husband of 20 years, Michael Rice; sons, Todd Anthony and Scott Anthony; step-children, Todd Rice and Heather Rice; grandchildren, Gunnar Anthony and Parker Anthony; brother, Robert (Elsie) Stewart. Calling hours are 4-7 PM Monday, November 25, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 AM Tuesday, November 26, at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St, Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CNY SPCA 5878 E Molloy Rd, Syracuse, NY 13211.
