My deepest sympathies to the Wink family. I didn't know Larry, but as a student of Larry and Bonnie's, I'm sure he was a bit like Sr. Such a tragedy, I wish you all my condolences, and will keep you all my thoughts and prayers.

Thinking of Larry’s family , friends and school community. I taught with him in Prince William County, Va. I always enjoyed his charming smile and the twinkle in his eyes. May your warm memories give you peace in the days ahead.

Carol and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know your son except for one day when he was a little guy and he became separated from you and your Dad at the French Festival. I held his hand as we looked for you and he was so brave. From all the tributes here, I realize that he is an exceptional person. This is not the natural order of things, but time will let you remember the special memories that you and he made over the years, Hugs

My sincere condolences to the Wink family! I never had the opportunity to me Larry, Jr., but was a student of his dad's at Tully Central. Larry Wink was so proud of his sons and spoke about them in stories to our English 11 class. As a family suffers such a tragedy, it is hard to find the words to comfort those who loved this fine young man! Please know that my heart breaks for all of you, hoping that you know my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Life has changed, but Larry, Jr. will remain in many hearts for eternity.
God bless and peace to the Wink family,
Connie Doody Chase

Such a tragic loss. He was one of those rare men who truly cared for everyone he met. He did so much for all the students and families of Hastings. This loss is being mourned by all who knew him. Most of his first students at HME are now in college and have taken the lessons he taught and are sharing them with others. In that way he will continue to shape lives. My prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

Although I did not know Larry personally, by reading the other tributes on this wall, I can tell quite clearly the kind of man he was. He was one of integrity, one who always saw the best in others. He was kind, energetic, and a loving soul. He always had the students' best interests in mind and I am so thankful that he was the principal at HME as many of my friends' children go there. To get to build into the lives of those children and genuinely care about each and every one of them is a privilege and an honor that Larry was able to have. My heart aches for his family and the entire Hastings Mallory community. I send my best love and prayers to his family, and to all the faculty and staff in the CS district. God bless you all.
Much love,
Kendall Smith

I am sadden to hear of Larry's passing. My sincere condolences to Larry's family, friends, and the Hastings Mallory Community. I am a former teacher at Hastings Mallory and had the privilege of working with Larry. I remember Larry as an energetic and spirited person. He always saw the best in people, especially, the students and staff at Hastings Mallory. He once told me how much he loved being a part of the Hastings Mallory community. He was a wonderful leader who empowered others to be leaders themselves. He believed in all his students and did what he could to help them succeed.
Thank you Larry for your positive spirit and love for others-your legacy will live on as an inspiration to all of us. God bless you and your family.

Larry was a welcome sight to meet and greet at the entrance during events at the school. I didn't know Larry well, but his kindness resonated at the entrance with a smile and a welcome. Our condolences go out to the students, friends and family. Larry had a define impact on my granddaughter, he will be greatly missed, my granddaughter told me so and she began to cry when she heard the news she would not be returning to school to see Larry.
