Diminica "Dee" Nuzzo, 98, passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Fitchburg, MA to Ghirlando and Rosa Rausa. Diminica retired from General Electric and was a long-time member of the Canton Woods Senior Center. She enjoyed bowling, line dancing, cooking, and gardening. But, most of all, she enjoyed playing with her grandchildren.
Diminica is predeceased by her husband, Phillip Nuzzo, and son, James Nuzzo.
Diminica is survived by her daughter, Louise Conroy; son, Richard Nuzzo; grandchildren, Christine, Richard (Christine) and John Conroy, Richard Nuzzo Jr. and Veronica (Scott) Emerson; great-grandchildren, Richard and James Nuzzo, Cheyenne & Cross Bianchi, Connor and Tori Emerson, and Savanna Conroy; and 8 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 10-11 am Monday, September 23 at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd, Baldwinsville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial is in St. Agnes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Augustine's Church or Canton Woods Senior Center.
