Wayne Brown, 74, passed away at home Friday, September 6, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in San Antonio, TX to Lester and Mildred Brown. Wayne served 20 years in the US Air Force, entering in 1967 where he was stationed at Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome. He later began his second career as an Inspector for the NYS Labor Department. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and enjoying life. His loving kindness, lively wit, and willingness to help others will be greatly missed. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joann Brown; children, Leanne McKee, Wayne Brown, and Anna Daughton; grandchildren, Amber, KaitLynn, Mackenzie, Alexis, and Connor; siblings, Paulette Strasser, Larry (Fran) Brown, Lester (Valorie) Brown, and Neil (Margaret) Brown. Calling hours are 4-7 pm Friday, September 13 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 am Saturday, September 14 at St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St, Baldwinsville, NY 130274 or VFW Post 153, 50 Salina St, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
